The lab-scale bench top Supercritical Anti-Solvent with Enhanced Mass-transfer (SASEM) Test Rig consist of two configurations:

• Single Solution feed – Contain Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) with a suitable solvent

• Dual-Solution feed – Contain Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) with a suitable solvent as    well as an encapsulation copolymer solution.

 

The feed solution is equipped with a high pump which is capable of high pressure liquid liquid injection of up to 5000 psi. It is designed and sized with a suitable feed flow range in order to work in conjunction with the rest of instrumentation in the Supercritical Anti-Solvent with Enhanced Mass-transfer (SASEM) Test Rig.
